Greg Cameron (Celtic fan) says...

It's a terrible loss to this game that Henrik, a god in his own right at Parkhead, has retired. He was one of the best and most clinical finishers this game has produced. I think it says alot about the character and ability of the man that he was not only playing for 2 of the biggest teams in the World, Manchester United and FC Barcelona, aswell as my beloved Celtic but that also he was loved by the sport and managers like Sir Alex. I find it very moving that he decided it best to finish his lucrative career at a club in his homeland rather than at a big side in Europe, it shows he isn't just playing for money like most modern day footballers. I've had the pleasure of meeting the man himself and would just like to thank him for all he has done for football, but in particular, Celtic FC. He is still our Bhoy, our King Henrik, our Ghod.

A massive loss for football. The clapping and affection he was shown by the Celtic fans when he scored against them(whilst playing for Barcelona) just shows you what type of player he is. A credit to football and im sure im not the only one wishing him every happiness in his future ventures

Henrik Larsson was the best striker Sweden ever produced and his glittering carrier spanning 2 decades has finally come to an end. He was a Celtic legend and played for 2 of the biggest clubs in the world Barca and United (albeit for a short time). His first touch was second to none and he had an eye for goal, which has won many fans around the world. Henrik, thanks for the memories, happy retirement, we all will miss you!
