I'm glad he did a rating out of 100, it shows how poorly this country really is and things we can improve on. The Premiership is supposed to be the best league in the world......it is but there is limited English resource in each team. Hopefully the FA can invest more money in grass roots and bring English talent through. Basicaly we are not going to win anything in the near future, so we need to look at the long term. I back Capello all the way, he has started something good and hopefully the English mentality of sacking and slating people that aren't doing well will change and we can have a positive atitude for once.

This just goes to show that Cqpello has no grasp of a good player. Rooney had the worst tournament then all our players, even worse then Green.

What the HELL, Heskey got 60.something, Ashley cole and John terry were are best players how are they soo low. Plus How can you give S.R.W a good mark, When he hardly played. There was no pasion this year. Not like the old England was eg. Gazza, Stuart peace and obviously 1966 squad. WE NEED A NEW MANAGER, WE NEED AN ENGLISH MANAGER, I DONT EVEN THINK ALEX FERGISON COULD DO THE JOB. We need Harry Rednapp or stewart peace to do the Job. Thankyou.

Okay everyone seriously needs to stop blaming Capello for what happened in South Africa. It simply wasn't his fault that the players didn't play up to their potential. Capello has done all he can but this failure begins and ends with the players.

I'm a big fan of Statistical representations of sporting performances, the QB rating in NFL being one of the better,
However this is an irrelevant non-distinguishable crock of rubbish!
The difference between the best player of the tournament and worst cannot be adaquately represented by only a 15% differance in scoring, it is an absolute statistical joke!
Gerrard less than 2% better than the forever internationally underachieving Lampard is tosh,
The Dire SWP better than Milner? Whatever!
No wonder selection and performances were so poor by these measures!

It is now official, Capello has lost the plot. I take it the rest of us are talking about football, because these marks could not relate to skills on the field. Firstly Steven Gerrard was dreadful other than the first 15 mins of the first game. He did not hold a position, he did not create, he did not tackle, he was totally useless and should never play for England again. Lampard at least had a good half against Germany, and Upsom was much better than any other centre back in the English team. How A Cole can be marked so low when he was covering for the lack of cover on the left wing is beyond me.
Get rid of the Italian drip and get some passion back as manager not a yes man.

SWP and JT's are massively over-rated. Terry had one good game and was definitely largely at fault for the abysmal Germany match. Sure Green let a goal in but why does Rooney deserve a much higher rating?? Played all the matches too where as Green got one. Talk about scapegoat.
Defoe and Heskey are about right.
My Capello rating 44.00.

If Capello reviews his players , as this shows, he watches a different game to this family.
IS THERE ANY WONDER WE ARE WHERE WE ARE???
If Shaun Wright -Philips is rated correctly, he should read no more than 48.00
Get shut of the selectors who stayed with Capello, give the job to an English / UK player

I am wondering if Capello has been watching a different team, to give Rooney such a high score is a show of favouritism rather than realistic and honest review of the players.
Without a doubt there was a lot of expectation and pressure on Rooney, but on the same token we new he has a poor international record, he was off form at the end of the EPL season, so why did we pick him.
New manager, same old habits of just picking big name players because of their past reputations and not picking players on current form.

if mr capello stopped bothering rating other teams players he would possibly have time to sort out the England Team.
BUT not if i had my way - i would sack him and employ an ENGLISH team coach/manager
