Discounting the high profile names, think that with his record, Gus Poyet stands out. Zolas club have bought him success by giving him the Udinese 'B' team. Similar scenario to Keegan when he was at Fulham!!! Saying that. I still believe that Roberto de Matteo should currently be guiding Chelsea. The recipe was right and sacking him was an act of pure lunacy.

The pundits are right to some extent but no one has blamed the one person responsible for this mess, Roman Abramovich! The fans are frightened to criticise him as they are afraid their cash cow would walk away! What good has sacking this stream of manages done other than turn the job into a poisoned chalice?

Excellent read yet again Jeff. Agree with most with the exception of Bale being as good as Ronaldo, he's up there, but not quite in the same category as the main man Cristiano. As a Welshman I seriously hope he gets somewhere near the class and consistency of Ronaldo though, fingers crossed!
