Fitting final between two sides and managers truly at the zeitgeist of the game. Spains peerless tiki taka and sometimes strikerless style aainst the imaginatively and retrospectively set up Italians complete with liberos and/or quarterbacks and TWO strikers! Nations with rich football DNA it's perhaps even fair to say the Italians have proved themselves as the masters of European football, in a historical sense. Contemporarily however, it's certainly Spains tone. So it's modernity versus tradition and after being seduced by their ingrained knowhow and inherently technically able players, I'm plumping for the nostalgic choice. Forza Italia!

I think Italy will win.Spain looked a tired team to me against Portugal and only looked dangerous in extra time when Portugal tired.Im going to say 2-0 Italy with maybe the goals coming from set pieces.

I will not agree with Jamie,Spainish team look so tired,so i will go for a win for Italy.Because spain was exposed in the semi final and we saw some player where so tired.

While Pirlo has been magnificent equally good has been Xabi Alonso who has been Spain's most influential player. Sunday will be a good battle between the 2 best passers of a ball in Europe
