Get rid of Grant, he is tactically inept as shown by the ridiculous decision to play Anelka wide left and leave Joe Cole on the bench until near the end. He has won nothing and doesn't even have a coaching badge. As for pretty football that's also a joke as our last few displays have been dour, but at least under Jose if we didn't play well we still won. As for the Chelsea hierarchy, they claim to judge the manager on the criterion of success and success alone. Well if they expect us to believe that then why did they get rid of Jose? RA should admit he has made a huge mistake and bring someone in who is a proven winner.

To be honest I don't think Grant will be in charge next season - I see him more as a caretaker manager. How much money did he invest in the winter window? I think all us Chelsea fans have an idea that Frank Rijkaard will eventually (in the Summertime hopefully) take over in charge at Chelsea. We know that Roman admires the free-flowing style of football that Barcelona have been playing under him, and it seems funny that we already have one of his men in place in Ten Cate... It's just a matter of time - and hopefully he will get us playing the attractive style of football we were playing (but with more league success) during the 90s. Back then we weren't considered boring.

As a lifelong fan and season ticket holder, I was at Wembley on Sunday. It was hugely disappointing, not just to lose but the way we lost too. The team selection was wrong and Avram must take responsibility for that. How he can expect two strikers, Drogba and Anelka, to play together successfully for the first time in a cup final is beyond me - and leave out our most creative player, Joe Cole too. I have seen many Chelsea matches this season, home and away and it is true that we haven't played with great flair apart from the odd occasion, home to Man City and away in Europe come to mind. we are mostly winning though! When Jose went and Avram came in, the expectation of most Chelsea fans that I know of was to finish in fourth place at worse in the Premiership. We have a fantastic squad, as good as any other club in Europe (although short of one or two flair players), still in three competitions, there are lessons that will hopefully be learnt from losing to Spurs and so even though I have reservations, all this talk of Avram going is nonsense. Stick with him, give him and the players vocal support too, let's see where we are at the end of the season and then no doubt Roman will take a view.

I have to agree with most of you, my blue bros! Grant is not the man for Chelsea and I can only repeat what most have already stated- we haven¿t won a big game under Grant yet (the away game vs. a struggling Valencia side was nothing compared to our last year¿s encounter when we were simply overwhelming them in the second half) and I don¿t see it coming. In the first half of the CC final we were just just going down in midfield- he shouldn¿t have used a 4-3-3 and the tactical changes came way too late!! Jose won¿t ever come back and it¿s a really sad thing- cause he¿s been the man- he knew how to fire all our players up and there¿s always been loads of respect for him. What did Grant do after the 90 mins.? He didn¿t say a thing but only scratched his head and let Steve Clarke and JT do all the talking- that¿s been really embarassing! Come on the Chels!

Avram Grant does not seem to be a "big match" winner! The team does not seem fired up for the big games at all. Avram claims to want to bring attacking football to Chelsea which admittedly will take time! As for the line up on sunday...I would like to see a 4-4-2 utilising Drogba and Anelka both strikers. I also believe the wingers Chelsea have for attacking football bar Joe Cole are not on the same scale as say cristiano or nani giggs etc Chelsea need to invest in some FLAIR over the summer. I believe Avram needs to be given some more time though.

The facts are - since Jose left, we have scored less, let in more, and look like winning very little. After every interview Grant will always mention "We are playing better football now". We are not, we are playing worse, and we have struggled against the big teams. Please get rid of him now - he is not fit to manage any prem team, let alone one of the biggest in the world. Lets get back to being boring (Winning titles and being feared).

I have to say i think grant is way out his depth. The reason Ranieri was shown the door was due to the fact that he couldn't take chelsea any further. The same excuse was again given for Jose's departure. How is Avram Grant taking Chelsea anywhere better than the direction we were heading? Mourinho's record is incomparable to anything that most clubs have or will ever achieve! Replacing him with what seems to be a tactically inept manager isn't going to take chelsea forward. during his reign, we have never beaten a top 4 team, almost all of our away games have been unconvincing narrow victories against possible relegation candidates. The home results have been unconvincing with what i believe is 4 or 5 home draws under Grant. Even out disciplinary record has diminished. Yes, we did beat Man City 6-0 and we drew 4-4 with Villa on boxing day. Under Mourinho, would we ever have conceded 4 goals at home? I have nothing against grant as a person but just don't believe he's the man that can take chelsea forward. I think the club took a huge gamble in installing an unknown manager and it hasn't paid off. Time to admit that now and try and take something out of this season...

I'd been prepared to give Avram Grant the benefit of the doubt - until Sunday. The setup looked all wrong from the start, Anelka was out of position, Lampard looked poor and Belletti was exposed too often. Why did he not realise until 110 minutes that it wasn't working? Was he fooled by the fact that we were leading ? It was clear that changes were needed, but 10 minutes from the end of extra time is far too late. We have to hope now that Roman Abramovich is big enough to admit his mistake - and ensure that a new coaching team is in place by July.

Grant is not the manager for Chelsea; when the new Chelsea started with Glen Hoddell it was attractive football all the way to when Jose moved in, then we started to put regular trophies on the shelf because he knew how to get the players motivated to win; so us fans were kept happy. Now at Wembley for all to see Chelsea were without passion until it was too late, it appears Grant is leaving the motivation to the players and to work out his strange tactics, which takes too long when you are chasing a game as we were on Sunday. Grant also promised a more attacking Chelsea and we have seen no change, and when he was given the opportunity to prove it, he blew it.

Being a life long Chelsea fan I was enraged to see anelka replacing Joe Cole on the right wing. Why replace englands player of the year so far with a striker that obviously cant play on the wing. At half time Grant should have realised his mistake and put cole on earlier as the game started to change with his arrival. Also I find it a bit strange that we didnt even train with our starting 11 which for a cup final i feel is neccessary. We have now lost to Man U, Arsenal, Tottenham and a draw with Liverpool, not exactly the record of champions. We have a tough few weeks ahead and I feel MR Moneybags should start looking for a new manager to replace grant at the end of the season.

Its too early to say whether Grant will be a success, the team is still the same apart from Anelka. The team are a little unlucky to lose to a'Woodgate " header!!!!!! Lets afce it its either Utd or Arsenal for the league and pool will win what they did last year.nothing
