I'm not bothered in the slightest about the fee paid for Berba, it's worth it to us, who have been in need of a decent center forward for the last couple of years!
I'm sure Spurs fans are also happy with the £30 mill+: No need to try and rub it in though, the rest of the fans in the league regard this as part of your parachute payment for when you're relegated at the end of the year - that £30 mill won't buy you a goal after selling you're strikeforce and gambling like you have.
Roll on Berbatov - hat trick at Anfield!

As a blues fan I am surprised that Robinho was snatched from under our noses by City. If we have been trailing him all summer, why not paid the additional £3-4m, when you are spending £30m what is an extra £4m to Roman? Also it shows that Robinho is a bit of a mercenary. He stated for the last month he wants to play for Chelsea, then why sign for city with 6 hours to go in the Transfer window? More money I expect. There is no doubting his superb talent, but I am not heartbroken we didn't get him. We have plenty of options to play in that role behind Drogba (Kalou, Ballack, Lampard and Deco) and he is never going to grab 20 goals a season.
For me the best news is that City are going to a new force in the league and now the financial power is with City, Chelsea, United in that order. I am excited to see City now be the dominant team in Manchester from now on.
Viva la City revolution!

Robinho to man city is another example of footballing greed. It was only on sunday that robinho declared his love for chelsea, but only 24 hours later had signed for city. I believe £32.5 million for robinho is way beyond he real evaluation, although there is no doubtiong his ability he is yet to convince me that he is a natural born goalscorer with his record been 1 goal every 4 games in la liga and with the fast paced tempo of the premiership i believe he may strugle, however it is nice to see a club beat chelsea to a player.

Hopefully Rosicky gets healthy soon. Maybe he can provide that extra creativity and experience in the midfield if he stays healthy. Or he can play on the outside and move Nasri to the center. Nasri is good goin forward and can win balls. Wenger said he wanted one or two more players... hopefully they come in January.

I am an Arsenal fan, and have been for many years. Every other teams fans can see we need at least one for experienced midfielder to partner Cesc, but Wenger cant. For the first time in years I think Arsenal fans are getting fed up with the 'get in young and wait' policy that seems to be the way at Arsenal - me included. If we dont win anything this year, I think Wenger will see a massive backlash from the fans. The board might be happy, because the money we pay week in week out line their pockets.
Id also like to say that I was disguisted with Hill-Wood's comments when he said 'You learn not to always listen to fans'.... we bankroll that club. We didnt ask for a £32.5 Robinho - we asked for a experienced midfielder who wouldnt cost the world.
I think Denilson etc are good players, but as we learnt last year, they do not have the experience to win the league. It will be the same old story for us year, good, but just not good enough - when will we learn!!
As for Man City - great while the money lasts, or until the real gold ferrari driving Arab gets bored. (But well chuffed you beat Chelsea at their own game) Cant wait to hear the lame excuses from Kenyon. Chelsea are the creators of their own downfall by paying over the odds for everybody - good.

On the day Newcastle sold James Milner, Kevin Keegan said he thought fans would be excited at transfer developments over the next two or three days. Well no Kevin, i'm not remotely excited. We've sold one of the best young midfield players in the country and replaced him with....er....a striker and an unknown loan signing. Not exactly the big names we were led to believe to were on the way. Typical Newcastle, we've got a dire shortage of quality in defence and midfield yet we have five established forwards in Owen, Martins, Viduka, Smith and Ameobi so what do we do? Buy a another forward of course!

I am not surprised that Arsene Wenger has not bought anyone. He did promise to bring in one (or two) more players but he feels that the squad is at a reasonable depth.
Gallas and Toure just don't seem to be meshing well for some reason. Even Djourou is playing at their level.
Fabregas needs someone creative in Midfield to help his creativity. Denilson is getting there but slowly. But who else is there if they get injured? Song? Diaby? Alonso would have been a great buy. I blame Gareth Barry for that one.
Adebayor needs to up his game. His summer hype seems to have gone to his head and now he needs to prove that he is worth that pay-rise. Van Persie showed his class against Newcastle but i'm worried about his injury record.
I would not be surprised if come January, Wenger once again signs noone. Cause right now, all Arsenal are winning is Champions League TV Revenue.
I'm quited shocked also about Robhino going to Man City. Seems that everybody does have a price.
Rooney, Tevez and Berbatov. It sounds good, but we shall see how it goes. £30 million is a lot of money.

The sale of Berbatov and Keane has left a void in our front line, but i have full faith in Ramos to make it work - he has done it before and can do it with Spurs.
The money Spurs got for the two players is fantastic and can only help build the Mighty Whites into the force they once were.
Congratulations to Man City for signing Robinho, however i think he must have thought he was going to United as he didnt even know there were two Manchester Clubs.
Come on Spurs - lets make our club great again.
We dont need to pinch other premiership teams best players because we are scared they will eventually catch us up, we buy other players that may produce then sell them on - £30m for Baby Sulky Berbatov. ha ha.

As for Bex Medway's comments about Carrick not living up to the hype. He has played really well in his 2 seasons at Utd so far and played upwards of 80 games. With Hargreaves out a lot last season Carrick was a mainstay in midfield. In 2 seasons with us he has won 2 premier league titles and a Champions league so I would say he has more than lived up to the hype. We are more than happy to receive Spurs players if this is the outcome each year!!!

I love Arsenal but the fact that we haven't brought anyone in to take some of the burden from Fabregas will show us up this season. Letting Flamini & Hleb walk will ultimately cost us, as Hleb gave us an option if Fabregas was rested or injured & other than Nasri we have nothing in that department. It wouldn't surprise me if we ended up 5th this season with Man City finishing in the top four!! Since when was managing the budget Arsene's concern??... Do you see Mark Hughes, Big Phil, Sir Alex or Rafa talking about budgets?... No they worry about the team & getting results budgets should be dealt with by the Finance Manager or the man who really cares about Arsenal - DAVID DEIN!!
