Seeing Berbatov's salute to the crowd after the 6-4 win against Reading says it all. I think Berba is off, to me it looked like a last farewell. It will be sad to lose him, but perhaps we can afford a defensive coach with the transfer fee. Until somebody comes in to sort out the shambolic attempt at defending we make every game, we will never progress and challenge the top four. With our squad we should be pushing harder than under Martin Jol. At least Ramos is not afraid to change things during a game. He makes positive alterations compared to some of Jol's negative ones. Like 3-1 up at Chelsea and trying to close the game out. We knew we were not capable of doing that so why didn't the manager know it too?

After sitting in the directors box at Elland Road today, I gather that we are about to sign 4 or 5 players imminently. The first being Seb Sorsa tomorrow. Others include Fox from Walsall, Michalik from Bolton and Puncheon from Barnet. You heard it here first!

Rumours circulating around Glasgow that a police escort and 200 extra police officers have been called in for Celtic Park, this was due today but the sad passing of Phil O'Donnell has postponed this to later in the week. I have it on good authority that the police escort was for Henrik Larsson who will sign a three month loan deal for one more match in the Champoins League

Apparently Edmilson is on his way too Newcastle United, the Barcelona star has fell down the pecking order at Camp Nou and would be interested in a move away to the Premiership. Deco has also hinted at a move to the Premiership is attractive as he also is no longer first Choice at Barcelona, Manchester United and both Chelsea are both reportadly keen on the Portugese Playmaker.

I heard that liverpool will not be selling anyone in the the january transfer window, but they will be buying three players. Either Ezquial Garay/Kakha Kaladze as backup for Jamie Carragher and Daniel Agger. Liverpool will also make Javier Mascherano a permanant deal for £17 million. Finally Liverpool will sign the long awaited Gabrial Heinze deal.

I have heard from a reliable source that a fee is close to being agreed between Spurs and Chelsea for Berbatov, it is believed to be around £26m. Why do the Spurs board continue to lie us by saying noone is leaving? Same chairman who said Jol has our full support. Levy out!

I've heard a rumour that Portuguese star Maniche is looking to play in the Premier League again. Spurs are desperate for someone who can boss the midfield and he would fit the bill.
