Ali Ahmed, the writer is not biased against Barcelona. Truth hurts when it told to the face, and this is what he has done. Is it not true that Barcelona are too dependent on Messi nowadays while Madrid are less dependent on Ronaldo? Is it not true that Real Madrid are a well-balanced team this year, and Barcelona are finding it tough in away matches. Did the write not say "A high stakes game may be exactly what Barcelona need to make them up their game to its astonishingly high level of recent times." Take note that he did not predict the score; he said "This game really is too close to call." From this what makes the writer a real Madrid fan. May be you don't know how to digest a piece of writing. I am sorry it is you who is being subjective by refusing to alienate your admiration or love for Barcelona. I also say this game really is too close to call, may the team that play well win.

I love that so many fans think the author of this article must be a Real Madrid fan because he's willing to point out the flaws in the great Barcelona team without whom which football would not have existed apparently. I think Real Madrid can win this one. They're a different team than the team that got destroyed by Barcelona last year. They're much more cohesive.

I think Madrid will win but i can see goals from both teams, Madrid should approach the counter attack style, with there pace it is immense. Every aspiring young footballer should be tuning in tomorrow to see how football should be played..

Hi, I hope this is the fall of the Barcelona side..i despise their play acting, rolling over as if they have been shot by a sniper in the crowd.. don't get me wrong some of the football they play is pure genius, they take keep ball to a level never seen before. Messi is mesmerizing..but i think Real will win and win the league... I only hope they draw each other in the champs league before the final.. come on Jose,,,, take the crown away and stop this machine called Barcelona..

Mourinho vs Messi. The best manager in the world vs one of the best players ever. This game will probably be a draw, but as long as we don't see more red cards than goals, it should be interesting to watch.

@Ali Ahmed yes this article does sound a bit bias towards Madrid but it would do when the stats speak for themselves Barca are having a poor season (by their standards) a bad away record, playing poor against weaker opposition. in contrast Madrid are on fire especially at home. as for the game hope its a cracker but think it will end up a score draw.

Our workload is only who to start among these stars: Alexis, Cesc, David Villa. But a start line-up of this form may give us a win: Valdes- Abidal, Pique, Puyol, Alves-Xavi, Sergio, Ineasta- Cesc, Messi, Pedro

Oh great, can't wait for another show of handbags and theatrical diving Tom Daley would be proud of. What a joke these games are, such a waste of merged talent. What's the gap between these two teams and the rest of the league already? 50 points?

Ali you have just proven the point he has made about Barcelona relying on individuals by stating that the only way they can win is through performances from Iniesta abd Messi. It isn't biased he provides arguments for both sides throughout the article, if one side sounds stronger its because evidence says it is e.g. Real are at the top of the table Barca are not and are struggling internally with problems with David Villa and Pique losing his place in the team. Overall a very informative article

Out of order to suggest Guillem is a Madrid fan, Ahmed. If you watched La Liga this season, you would realise that he is spot on is his assessment both as a journalist and a fan. Barcelona have been less than average on the road. They've become easily flustered, for example...how many times before this season did you see Barca pumping balls into the box from free kicks and corners!?-not to mention crossing it. However, this season when things don't go their way and their attacking football doesn't work after 30 minutes, they switch to the complete opposite of the football they've become known for. Madrid on the other hand have finally got everybody pulling in the right direction. Ronaldo is maturing into an even better player-contributing all round, Ozil, Di Maria, Benzema and Higuain put in good performances consistently, no matter how many minutes they get. Couple the good performances with the the great work ethic and winning mentality that Mourinho has instilled, you get a Real Madrid side ready to go 6 points clear tomorrow night.

People are talking about how good barca is, whta they are forgetting is that barca is not that good.Against Real they always keep diving and pretending and ensuring that Real gets a red card which has made them win the few times that they have met.Without the red card, there is no way barca can comfortably beat Real in a very competitive game. BARCA STOP DIVING AND PLAY WITH DIGNITY
