Bangladesh should have been in the quarter finals, felt sorry for them that they lost against south Africa. Is there a possibility that BD can still make it to qf's? if west indies get beaten by a huge margin????

I have to disagree with 'Chinni Chinni', Bangladesh have been woeful. Got absolutely hammered by both the Windies and SA, posting shameful scores of below 80 in both, not to mention they should have lost against Ireland. Sure, they showed great spirit to beat England but that's not enough to justify your argument. England, on the other hand, have drawn and beaten India and SA respectively, without doubt the two favourites to win the tournament. Putting them results to one side, England's spirit, fight and sheer entertainment value easily justifies their QF place ahead of Bangladesh. I'd love to have seen Bangladesh in the QF but if we're honest they simply haven't been good enough.

Ireland have a potential to be a much better team than Bangladesh. Even before the game it was obvious they would lose - how England lost against them is mind boggling. Atleast they are now through and will probably finish 3rd in the group now

Dont know what everyone was worrying about. England have had a long season and still pull off great wins even with a few mistakes. I think England deserve there place and will move forward from here like they did in the T20 World Cup. We need to back our country not slate them!!!!! COME ON ENGLAND!!!

Chin up chinni. But sorry your talking with the heart, and not the head!..England get beat by the likes of bangladesh, and ireland because you raise your game against the "enemy" everyone wants to beat england....More so the likes of bangladesh, and ireland. But that does not make you a better side...Bangladesh, have by far exceeded their expectations and in my opinion will always be behind the likes of india, pakistan, and sri lanka.

It's a shame that England had to sit and pray that Bangladesh will lose. Bangladesh is better than England and they deserved to be in quarter finals.
