I cant believe someone else (Mo Khan) is comparing Ricky Hatton to Amir Khan, Ricky has an extensive portfolio of scalps against world class opposition and when he was beaten, he performed well and put up a decent fight. Khan on the other hand has not met world class opposition as yet and frankly it was impossible to tell the extent of Prescotts ability due to the lack of competition he faced against Khan! Prescott impressed he wasnt arrogant, said what he was going to do and went about his work the right way I liked that!

oh dear oh dear i feel sick for the lad i really do but he did keep dropping his guard in other fights and getting off with it . but he was up against a more hungry fighter who could hit. i think Khan can bounce back and maybe some day become world champ, but needs to sort out his defence. i wish him all the luck in the world

I do feel quite sorry for khan but maybe it was the wake up call his camp needed, He isnt as good as he thinks and it was proved when faced with a good hitter. Why is it the media have to hype everyone up so much in this country, i bet sky box office are gutted they gave him that contract ha

It was sad to see someone with so much potential as Amir Khan being exposed in such away. From his previous fights perhaps the writing was on the wall (glass jaw). Team Khan now needs to revise their handling of Amir in terms of believing 'the hype' and choice of trainers. It now shows it was a big mistake parting company with trainer Oliver Harrison. Things seemed smoother under Harrison's guidance and changing trainers at such a important stage a boxers development doesn't make sense. Boxers need continuity and not big name trainers.

It was sad to see his dreams shattered like that in such a sensational fashion, but I feel it was a reality check well needed. There were always question marks over his chin from his previous fights. He was put in the ring with a quality banger, and he got sparked cold in the first minute of the fight. Naz lost to Barrera on points and was given a thorough boxing lesson, but he was always in the fight and was never stopped in such an emphatic way. I think a lot of our sportsman are dressed up by the media to be something they are clearly not and are are also over paid and over hyped for their mediocrisy, much like our national football/rugby teams.

Well it was always on the cards and the first time he has to fight someone the same size he folds, maybe the british media will start to give more credit to other up and coming fighters who are doing it the hard way, i mean how can two of britain's best fight on the same card for a WORLD title and not be top of the bill.

Oh dear, "how have the mighty fallen" now the delighted media and fans alike will gloat for months. A strange and brutal "sport"where we (you) set our hero up to be knocked down, literally, then when it happens the inevitable questions are asked regarding his status as a world contender. I would suggest that prowess in the ring is something to be ashamed of, boxing has no place in a civilised world.

Oh dear. It's a shame really. No offence to Khan's previous opponents but he was fighting some very poor boxers in my opinion and now, when faced with real class did not perform !!!

When are we gonna realise that most of our boxers arent world class before putting them in front of fighters who arent even world champions....learn from prince naseem....The colombian was more hungry for obvious reasons and not spoon fed like most of our boxers!!!

Dear Oh Dear. The bright star that was Amir Khan has been comprehensively snuffed out and perhaps now those crowing that he is the brightest star the Brits have got will see him for what he is - a decent fighter but not world class and never will be. Unfortunately too many boxing pundits believed the ridiculous hype, even after the suspect and laboured win over Willie Limond, a journeyman if ever there was one, people were still saying Khan had a world title in the bag. No. Sorry - its in the bag when its round your waist, never before. Unfortunately tonight was embarrassing and a huge blow for Khan. Where does he go from here? Naz may have eaten too many burgers and blown it when he was at the top of his game but at least he delivered at the top table when it mattered, on more than one occasion. Amir has been bottle washing up till now, and it seems like he is destined to remain in the kitchen.

Sorry to say but that¿s what happens when the media build people up to be something they are not. I knew it was a just a matter of time before he met his match, its just like that young lad in the diving team for the Olympics, they hyped him up to win and he finished last, the media should stop piling the pressure on.

The other guy is lucky, Khan will come back and kill it, look at ricky hatton, one of the best in his weight, he lost and is back on track!! inspiration!! Khan will become a world champ and represent!
