Bhop was unlucky not to get the win, but being dropped twice leaves a lot of ground to make up, i had pascal in front by 5 points after 3 rounds and I don't think Hopkins won every other round, so it was a close fight and a rematch would be a good watch. As for hopkins saying he's destroyed anyone he's fought twice, I think Jermaine Taylor might disagree with him there.

Totally agree. While I've seen worse robberies in the sport, make no bones about it - this was a robbery and nothing less. The only rounds I scored for Pascal were the ones with the knockdowns but even if the second was scored for Pascal the card would still have Hopkins winning. Even if the non-knockdown of Hopkins in the middle of the bout had been called a knockdown Hopkins STILL would've been ahead. Any result other than a Hopkins victory in this bout is tantamount to admitting blindness - and I'm not even a Hopkins fan. Fantastic performance, deserved to win the title and hopefully will be able to repeat this performance again in a rematch in a neutral venue within the next 4-6 months.

Incredible fight! The atmosphere at the fight was electric. The first knockdown looked questionable and with the majority 16,000 Pascal fans screaming, the roof nearly came off the Colisee Pepsi! It probably cost Hopkins the fight. After the 6th age did`nt take its toll and a stunning show of boxing followed. A great fight and a great venue! Hats off to Hopkins!

A typical Hopkins fight, lunging in, hitting on the blind side, putting his head downso the other fighter cant hit in the clinch. Desperate to watch this man still doing this and totally intimidating refs all these years later. Golden Boy and his friends are the reason boxing is in such a state. By the way B-Hop, the rest off the world isnt that crazy about coming to our country because off judging.

Hopkins definitely was hard done by in this fight. Truly remarkable for a guy of 45 to be putting in a performance like that, i didn't think he had it left in him after his showing against Roy Jones Jr. These hometown decisions need to be clamped down on. if it means 3 neutral judges in every title fight then so be it, why it is so accepted as part of the sport is beyond me, it doesn't happen in any other form of athletic competition so it shouldn't in boxing

Hopkins really tagged Pascal throughout, he is very unlucky to draw this one. But Pascal did well to hit Hopkins on several occasions in the early rounds, and get 2 knock downs. If you watch the Hopkins vs Calzaghe fight Calzaghe hardly hit Hopkins with clean puches, he mostly slapped him. Hopkins is very unluckly in the last few years he has lost fights against Taylor, Calzaghe and now this draw and I think he was robbed in nearly all of these especially the Calzaghe fight.

B-HOP was sure enuff robbed - he won at least 8 or 9 rounds there and pascal was on the back foot from the 5th onwards!! A Re-match in vegas is def on the cards on the undercard of the next pacman fight!!

I am struggling to understand this technical draw thing. It happened last week with Victor Ortiz vs Lamont Peterson as well and I don't get it. Surely as one judge said Hopkins won and the other two said draw surely Hopkins wins as more people said he won? Can someone explain?

Great fight to end the year, i thought Bhop was robbed a victory though, apart from the knockdowns he totally outboxed Pascal probablly from the 4th round upwards. Hats off to Bernard for a guy who is nealy 46 he showed he can still mix with the best of them.
