Chris Shepherd (West Ham United fan) says...

Well what can I say. What a waste of a late night, staying up watching Sky sports and nothing not even a rumour.!!! Why O why do we support West ham, it must be in the blood. Lets hope Curbs and the board know what they are doing. Finger crossed that our so called injuried players come back soon and stay fit for at least 3 months. I am still hoping something has been missed and we got a couple of loanies or out of contract players. We need something to cheer us up

Kane Hopps (Arsenal fan) says...

I think its an absolute disgrace that wenger didnt buy anybody. he promised the fans he would buy before the FC twente match, he didnt, he promised he would buy 1 or 2 on deadline day, fail. this man is ruining our once great football club because his ego is too big and he wants to prove every1 wrong with his kids. Absolutly Gutted. Wenger Out.

Micky Brown (Newcastle United fan) says...

Two things should happen at newcastle 1 Get rid of Ashley ( short arms deep pockets) 2 Sack Wise and Co ( 1 signing 1 on loan, not good enough) I think KK will walk if nothing changes how anyone can work under them bunch of plonkers i dont know disgruntled mag

Paul Thomas (Arsenal fan) says...

I think Arsene Wenger has made a huge mistake by not signing a central midfilder. Personally I think Man City will overtake us in the league this season. The money is there why does'nt Arsene spend it for once!!!!

Jamie Scorgie (Fulham fan) says...

im so glad everton has signed a midfielder but is he cup tied for uefa games

Eliot L (Arsenal fan) says...

Arsen Wenger really has to sign 1 or 2 players more players at least, Metzelder would be a good signing but he would also need to buy another midfielder because i think if we got a couple of injuries to the likes of fabregas denilson or diaby, we would really struggle to find adequate cover in the middle and i dont believe that wilshire and ramsey could fill in for them at this time especially in big games. there is a real lack of experience. bring in alonso!

Reg Smith (Tottenham Hotspur fan) says...

After watchin Chelsea struggle to impress, all spurs need are two new frontmen to help out Bent and we 'should' start to climb the table.

Gareth Roberts (Everton fan) says...

Come on you blues. We need help off the pitch and on it. Watching Moyes in the transfer market is dissapointing to say the least, but i don't blame him at all. It is like watching a boxer with one hand tied behind his back. Come on Kenwright and the rest of the board SHOW US THE MONEY. Moysie and team worked so hard last season but have nothing to show for it. The last two close seasons we have broke our own transfer record which is the sign of a club moving forward. I'm so dissapointed. Good job we have a tremendous youth system briniging the likes of Baxter and Rodwell through or i would fear for our future.

Lee Merriman (Tottenham Hotspur fan) says...

I feel we may have left it a little late to get quality players in, unless we have been doing deals on the quiet, which is unlike spurs. Ideally we would bring in Huntelaar, although Arshavin is more likely, we've been linked with both Veloso & Diarra, with Diarra being favourite as hes used to the premier league & would be cheaper, hopefully the Corluka deal is being wrapped up now City have Zabaleta. The rumour that im pleased about is including Frazier Campbell in the Berbatov deal, good young English back up. COYS!! With so many new players, surely spurs fans must appreciate this will be a bedding in season, and not expect too much.

Del 1023 (Newcastle United fan) says...

What is happening at St James park,Mike Ashley wanted a co owner to run the club with him so why did he want to buy shepherds and hall`s shares outright.I know we all felt thatShepherd had to go and thought of better times when Ashley put a bid in but Freddy did care and put his money where his mouth was.I now feel Ashley aint in this for the love of the game but to reduce the wage bill then sell the club and run with his profit. Why sell one of our prize assests in milner then have no replacement. Then offer Owen a reduced contract of 85000 why not reduce the contracts of the people who stroll about the pitch and dont care,eg Smith Duff Ameobi.Look at Shepherd who brought the englands number 1 back in 1996 and alot of others down the years.Come on Ashley the club is like a house we need furnished,As we lack players with Quality and flair and who play with pride and passion.Keegan once stood on the steps when he sold Andy Cole he was a fans manager but now he is being shielded away and taking all responsibility for Milner and other depatures when everyone knows there is things going on behind closed doors. Our club is turning into a laughing stock.

Adam Saunders (Dagenham & Redbridge fan) says...

After reading reports about Ebbsfleet United FC's John Akinde leaving to go to Championship outfit Bristol City and hearing Gary Johnson say he can make the step up to that level. I feel there are a few people down at ebbsfleet who can make a step up to that level. A couple of weeks ago, i watched Dagenham & Redbridge Reserves play a well organised Ebbsfleet United Reserve side. Sam Mott the ebbsfleet united goalkeeper that day i thought was good a player that has came up through the ranks of the youth system, & for me one of the best players on the park came from a 17 year old left back called Steven Springett was very confident on and off the ball and i feel he has the potential to succeed in a higher league, may need to fill out a bit though as physical presence in a different league he may struggle. Another young player i witnessed that day was another 17 year old Sam Callander came on with 20 minutes to go and done very well against an experienced Daggers defence. Although being a daggers fan i did not like to see my team get beat in the overall result. Well at least we're top of league two aye!

Daniel Everett (Portsmouth fan) says...

I hope the rumours about Diarra are not true. We can't sell another midfielder in which this position at the club already looks slightly depleted by the selling of Muntari and Mendes. We should be filling the void if anything. If we want to carry on from last season we need to raise the bar a bit and splash a little cash. Thiago Motta would be a class signing, I saw him rip Chelsea apart a few seasons ago in the Champions League for Barcelona. I heard his wage demands could be a stumbling block to a deal however. Stephen Appiah would be a good replacement for Muntari, he's strong, quick and powerful, and that is what we need! Hopefully we will get a right winger in before the window shuts.

Darren Morris (West Ham United fan) says...

West Ham did very very well to offload Ferdinand for what Sunderland paid ! He is so inconsistant and did not want to commit to the club. Good luck Sunderland !

Dan Jameson (Manchester United fan) says...

Don't be surprised to see United incorporate Tevez, Rooney, Ronaldo and Berbatov (if he does eventually sign). In either case, Rooney is indispensible. For what it's worth, I would have much rather seen Benzema on his way to the champions of England and Europe.

Paul Johnson (Aston Villa fan) says...

Please MON don't sign Ashton, he's no good! We need to spend big money on a forward, look at the top four, they all have a 20+ goal a season striker! Ashton would be lucky to get 5 let alone 20+!

Chris Marsden (Everton fan) says...

JoMo deal is still on with Everton lodging a £18million bid for the portugal playmaker, personal terms have been agreed and the Sporting President has admitted defeat and cut his losses, the deal with be finalised by deadline day. Also Stephan M'bia has agreed to join everton at the end of the season after Rennes increased his wages for this season only. Thiago Motta will snub Portsmouth and join his favoured club (Everton) a two year deal has been agreed and Thiago will be shown off with jomo on deadline day

Darren Morgan (Tottenham Hotspur fan) says...

It's about time the Berbatov transfer saga was put to bed and boy do Utd need him. Hopefully Spurs will replace him with Huntelaar and also bring in Corluka and Veloso. As for Utd, if they do sign Berbatov, I can't see Rooney getting in the team, Tevez is surely ahead of him in the pecking order. Lastly, Ashton would be a poor signing for anyone, he needs to prove his fitness for a whole season before being considered.
