I just don't understand James Milner. He obviously tried to get more money because of the interest in him and they just turned him down. He only had a contract a year ago. This is the same situation as Robert Green at West Ham. Although I wouldn't want to see him go the club should not be held to ransom and if we can get a quality replacement in then we should sell him.

I cannot believe that James Milner has handed in a transfer request especially after his comments on sky sports last night; stating that he just wants to play football and leave's the rest to the club to decide. Therefore from leaving Coventry to Newcastle last night he has changed his mind and requested a transfer? I believe Martyn Oniell has been chatting to him, after the game last night and offered him a deal. IT IS SHOCKING TACTIC'S. Probably deal done over dinner last night

Celtic will sign Razvan Rat, Anthony Stokes(loan) and Fletcher from Hibs, all this will be completed by Friday, Riorden will be loaned to Hibs for the season, this will be the last of Celtics tranfers this summer, there is a chance that a move for Lucas from Liverpool is in the offing but that hasn't been confirmed, yet! as for next summer, it's been said that Celtic will be looking for a keeper after it has been confirmed that Boruc is on his way to Man UTD to replace van der sar who will leave for a return to Holland

Celtic will tie up a deal for Shakhtar Donestk left back Razvan Rat this week, leaving the door open for Lee Naylor to return down south to West Brom. A deal for Marko Basa is also being looked at and Anthony Stokes will come in on a loan deal with a view to a permanent move.
