Typical of knox to say that!!!! just because he wanted the job he did'nt get it. p.s slagging of O Gara about his play is a bit stupid considering that knox was an understudy at national level really and did'nt play as much as o gara plus i remember seeing knox play at thomand park for the aussies against munster on a tour match and he kicked the majorty of possesion if it was'nt for stephen larkham making his debut at fullback they would have lost

Did Knox watch any of the HC? As a Wasps fan, this is rather hard to admit, but Munster played continuously expansive rugby, and stretched sides. True, the Munster of old have been rather one dimensional, but this has changed, and now they can mix it up with the best (beating Llanelli in the rain, and Gloucester at Kingsholm in sun). Maybe Kidney did not train this new brand, but he certainly made the signings in order to encourage this style of play. Hopefully Ireland will be able to take advantage by using his insight in game development. Only time will tell!

Even people who have not on iota on rugby can see that this is clearly Sour Grapes. Me. Knox im afraid will have to question his coaching abilities as he and Mr. Cheika have come up short again, regardless of the Mangers League title, when it comes to playing Rugby at its highest Level - The Heniken Cup. Declan Kidneys record spekas for itself. With the additions of the Kiwi's, Barry Murphy etc Munster can play 15 man rugby. Poor auld leinster as we can see were left with coaches (Mr. Kox who could only do blackboard coaching and not full throttle rugby. Moving from 10 to 15 man rugby was way beyond his capabilities. Take some sugar Mr. Knox to sweeten those Grapes!!!

I do not understand why David Knox is coming out with this rant. Is he that narrow minded that he thinks the problems of the Irish team during RWC07 were all down to the Munster players and Eddie O'Sullivan? What about O'Driscoll??? Over rated and frankly past his prime. He should take responsibility and step down as captain. As for Munster's lack of style or flair - we may not play pretty rugby like Leinster but we have more European cup wins than they do and as the top team in Europe who needs it?!

The words bitter little man spring to mind.
Munster play heads -up rugby -playing to the conditions.
His critique on our centres is fair -they both step & can't pass.
Where is going regarding O Gara?
What a prat...
