nice to see grant holt appreciated for his AMAZING amazing season! shame not even a mention for ruddy though, but still a mention for lil ol' norwich is great :) maybe bale was a bit of a media-hype- kinda player but he is still quality. well chosen jeff. well chosen. HOLTY FOR ENGLAND!

Definitely the worst team of the season I have seen so far. Though Al Habsi has had a great season he has not been the best goalkeeper. That is a toss up between Krul and Hart. Selecting Ashley Williams is a joke because he is a centre half, to claim that we're "not blessed with choice at right back" is disrespectful to the Young Player of the Year Kyle Walker and Micah Richards who have both been outstanding. Gareth Bale is another I couldn't get my head around, how has he out performed Yaya Toure and Yohan Cabaye? Dempsey should be shifted to Bale's position to welcome one of these two in to the team. The reason for Bale's selection tells me why he shouldn't even be considered. "At his best is absolutely unstoppable". The problem is, this season he was not at his best! There have been much more productive players than him this season such as Juan Mata, Antonio Valencia and even Theo Walcott. Lastly, choosing Grant Holt over the likes of Sergio Aguero and Wayne Rooney means I can't take this team seriously. Grant Holt has done a fantastic job for Norwich this season and has exceeded many people's expectations. That doesn't mean he should be in the team of the season as this is about the best eleven performers. If there was an unsung heroes eleven for the season or a comeback eleven of players who have played in the lower leagues and have become a success in the Premier League then certainly the likes of Grant Holt and Ashley Williams would be in that side. But don't put them in the team of the season because people thought they would struggle.

i reckon you need to include clint dempsey and wayne rooney and changing the keeper to petr cech as he is the best keeper at the moment as el habsi needs more experience to become a top premier league keeper and people should include David De Gea even though he was like an elephant on ice at the start of the season he's gonna be world-class in 8-9 years like iker casillas, victor valdes and the mighty Edwin Van Der Sar.
