As a West Brom fan, i find it quite amusing how everybody seems to look over our heads. We have done extremely well over the summer, keeping our two biggest players in Foster and Olsson and managed to bring in some exciting young talent. I think we could surprise quite a few people this season!

i think liverpool are the most overrated team in the league at the moment, manc c will be up there but i dont see them as a great threat untill that defence is streignthend. man u always contenders as are chelsea, and this season i have very high hopes on my team arsenal.

Derek Mcloughlin says...

If United use Hernandez for 20 or more games they'll win the league, and if they don't, they won't. Manchester teams will be 1 and 2, Liverpool 3rd and Arsenal 4th followed by Chelsea. Swansea will go down with Villa and Norwich.

Matt Bell says...

Everyone is doing what they did last season and writing off the mighty mags, Liverpool above Newcastle... not for me, and the same for Spurs, new manager for both these teams and they will take time to get their ideas across. Spurs don't have enough striking options to challenge the top four, you just have to look at Cisse, Ba and sir Shola as our backup to get us ahead of these teams.

Steve Greenwood says...

Come on people, it's not difficult. City have the best GK, the best defense, the best midfield and the best strike force. Add Tevez to a team who already scored the most goals last season and you can see why they will win the league in a canter.

i think man city will win league and i can also see liverpool surprising everybody this year and can see them finishing third with man utd and chelsea battling it out for second

Backing Liverpool to finish above Newcastle is MAD. Toon will be top 6, there or there abouts again. Liverpool are just rubbish; bookies/pundits are sticking by them purely because of their past pedigree. They could easily be bottom half this year. Cheeky bet - Brendan Rogers first to be sacked.

Charlie Harris says...

City or Chelsea for the titel. Just cant see United doing it this year at all. Chelseas new signings will either be amazing or toilet. As with Utd I cant see Arsenal doing anything either they're just too far off the pace. Liverpool for around 6th-10th though they will be better off without Dalgliesh. Newcastle no idea ! I think Spurs under AVB may yet sparkle. If they get the mooted good striker and replacement for Modric then 3rd-4th. Top City Chelsea Spurs Utd Bottom Wigan Southampton West Ham

Liam Barfield says...

Love the comment about Wigan not losing anyone. Diame, Thomas and Rodallega gone already, Moses to follow....

Cadey Cadenhead says...

Strikers are going to make a difference this season, Man City having the most to choose from and this stage, Chelsea looking to Torres and Utd to Rooney to do the business. What I believe is going to be telling is the central defenders, Terry was ball watching yesterday, Luiz still seems to still have wild man syndrome...City have Company but their defence did not look over convincing either, then there is Utd, Vidic returning will make a difference, Evans at this stage is not the legend that Alex says he is and moving Phil Jones to midfield, does this make them also vulnerable at the back. Arsenal looked good against Cologne, and Podolski looks like a worthy contender to step up to the role RVP currently fulfills. Spurs no defenders and their strikers seem to be all over the place, Defoe linked with Sunderland and Adebajor not getting the deal he is after, how dangerous will they be. Liverpool look like they are going to have their usual season of, if only we didn't have those two bad patches, we would have been in the top 4. Newcastle may suffer from being in Europe, but if they hold onto their key men, Cabaye, Ba and Cisse, they could cause some damage

Bill Saunders says...

Look and enjoy the Premier League right now Arsenal fans, because its the last time you'll be there until the start of next season! 1st - City. 2nd - United. 3rd - Chelsea. 4th - Arsenal
