Winners and losers

It was more like winners and snoozers at Magny-Cours. Typical that even the arrival of rain didn't liven things up.

I personlly believe that Hamilton had overshot his breaking position, if that was a valid overtaking move, then he should have been able to break into the apex beforehand. Many drivers could have done the same thing by speeding pass on the straight, get pass and then use the excuse that they were ahead anyway when the turn or chicane came?

I agree with the whole list as you mentioned. The FIA are getting stupider and stupider with these so-called "rules". Alonso had a terrible race, as you said, finishing behind Nelson Piquet, a rookie driver, and qualified 7 places behind you. Lewis' race was trashed by the penalty. Meanwhile, you can also count Nick as a loser, seeing how terribly he did all weekend.

i couldn't agree more, another tedious race at magny cours which unsuprisingly has guaranteed next years event and another pay cheque for the men in suits. there are so many great gp circuits in the world which we are denied the pleasure of seeing like kyalami, brands hatch, zandvoort but at least we the people get to go abu dhabi next season...
