I am the youth deveopment co-ordinator at Pickering Town CFC. We received funding from the Football Foundation to coaching in primary schools. The funding is in its final stage and with no more payments forthcoming our schools coach will be unemployed so after July we cannot sustain the coaching therefore links with the schools will stop. During the 3 years of funding 4 boys have progressed to York City so it shows that the funding has worked, sustainability is the key word. Without it the funding only papers over the cracks.
