I do have to admit that Ian is one of the most 'noticeable' players in the Tour for his talent, and attire too. I firmly think that Ian's comments had been quoted out of context. Ian is smart enough not to ignore the past episodes of Austin, Rory, and Ames comments. For Tiger to say "I thought Ian is the No.2" is rather sarcastic and has given me an impression that he believed in what the Magazine had written without much thought. I wonder any of the Press, Magazines or Journal dare to give some negative comments on Tiger's comments on Ian just after the Dubai victory

To be grossly misquoted like Ian was is completely out of order. I completely agree with Mr Roe, Ian is one of the stars of the European Tour. He has brought soo much to the tour and has a lot more to give I feel. It's a typically British thing to do to put someone down for believing in themselves.
