Novak Djokovic has expressed doubts by hiring Boris Becker, says Barry Cowan

I was surprised that Novak Djokovic brought in Boris Becker as his new coach because it suggests that the Serb's confidence is not as high as you would expect.

Great summary. It's an awesome era for tennis. It's so open. Whoever wins it, won't really be guaranteed to win anymore Slams in '14. Even though I'd like to see Rafa win it, Novak and Andy have the same chance. It's a time to watch and savour it. Times like this don't come around very often in any individual sport.

Very well written article, but if anything I think that Novak's competitors should fear this move, rather than see it as showing a vulnerability. Novak was the man to beat at the end of the ATP season, and going into 14 with Boris in gear shows that he means business. But having said that Changing from Marian when things were going so well is a risky move. We will see!
