What is happening with Chelsea is that they have a good line up,but they lack a good finisher somehow. They are a good side definitely. They are gonna play two finals. But the pressure is mounting on them which may take a toll on their performance when it comes to PL.Papa CIsse is a very good found also.I think the Magpies have a chance to go for a CL spot next season, but they have to kill the big beforehand.Best of luck to both the team though we are waiting for Chelsea at wembley to make it 3-0 at a go in this season.....YNWA

Amazing stuff by Cisse, what a great signing a great player he's turning out to be. If only he was English, would be going to Man U for 60Mil. Carrol played half a season with no prior top flight experience and cost Liverpool 35Mil. Are English players actually over hyped AND over priced?

Chelsea had no comeback to a well organised Newcastle side who snubbed out anything Chelsea had to throw at them. John Obi Mikkel should have the book thrown at him for a deliberate retaliative elbow on Tiote which may end the midfielders season. Howay the Toon

chelsea were pathetic, di matteo decided long ago he was throwing the league away for the cups and that joke of a midfield is my proof, malouda and meireles are terrible football players. Watching chelsea is about as exciting as stoke city. wave goodbye champs league next season.

Very disappointed with Di Matteo's decision not to start with the likes of Lampard, Mata & Essien. Essien, for me, has to start in the Bayern game, his strength and passing ability will be valuable against Bayern in the CL final. Mikel had an absolute stinker of a game. Don't know why some people rate him so highly. The only way he could've been better than Tiote tonight is if Tiote wasn't on the pitch, and Mikel made sure of that with an awful challenge on the Ivorian, who in my opinion would be a better buy for the blues than Marouane Fellaini. His work rate was exceptional tonight to say the least. Sturridge has completely lost his way this season after a fantastic start to the campaign. Have never rated Meirelles that highly and he reminded me why that is with a very poor performance, Lampard is 10X the player he is. But the player Chelsea desperately missed in the first 45 minutes of the game was Mata, they simply look like a team without a purpose when Mata isn't on the pitch, and Di Matteo got it wrong tonight by not starting him. This game, in my opinion, was of more importance than the F.A Cup final against Liverpool this weekend but someone forgot to tell that to Di Matteo. Has to win the CL final if he wants to be in contention for the full-time post now, that's what Abramovich will be thinking. But I guess tonight's loss will spur the players on even more in the CL final knowing they have to win to qualify for next season's competition. Don't write us off yet! COYB!

What a pity, the poor southern biased press will sooner or later have to acknowledge Newcastle's success. Absolutely fabulous victory.

What a fantastic result and 2 sensational goals. This Man Cisse is most definetly going to be legend if he continues his goalscoring exploits. Worth every penny of his Price Paid!! Come on Toon, push on for the remaining few fixtures, as it has truely been a fantastic season!

Well Newcastle you have found a gem well played tonight deserved them two goals as special as they were. Goal of the season more like buy of the season had to rub my eyes twice tonight. This may sound sly but I would rather use got fifth as I couldn't take the champions league of Newcastle IF we win would rather take it of spurs. Malouda and meireles and bosingwa utter disappointments tonight hopefully luiz is back for the final but let's not take it away from Newcastle

Hats off to Newcastle, that Cisse is on fire!! Poor selection by RDM Mikel is awful he's got to go, Meireles useless, I think RA is holding out because our league performance this year has been appalling and that's why RDM might not get the job even though AVB fluffed it big time infant no the team screwed it up. Well done Newcastle you deserved it
