Ian Letting says...

We need to stay patient and the AUSSIES will be under pressure from their own Supporters and Press. They have question marks over their side just like England normally do. Swann is the key if he settles in and gets in to his rhythm he will be hard to play. Dropping Hauritz when he has a good home record shows sign of panic. He can bat a bit too. If I was them now i would fit in Steve Smith because of his all-round game. The England side picks itself but Clarke has got a suspect back so who knows who they will pick.

Ian Gatward says...

I think it is too dangerous to write off the aussies just yet. This has to be Pontings most serious challenge to his captaincy for a long time and being at home the Aussies will be like caged tigers fighting for their lifes. If England can win at the gabba then we could see the Australians make wholesale changes to the team which will make England's task a lot easier but let us not get carried away too soon

Steve Tytko says...

If there was ever an ashes for England to win on Australian soil, this is it. I've never seen so many Aussies in a form slump and England should come in full of confidence. In saying that, you can't write us off just yet, the Gabba is a happy hunting ground for our pacemen and hopefully can get us off to a 1-0 start. Looks like its shaping up to be another great ashes series. Can't wait!!!

Neil Smith says...

i think we will win the ashes as the aussies are in a mess they dont know who to pick were as england know their best 11 and will pick the team to get revenge for 06/07 when we were outclassed so just sit back and enjoy as we finish pontings career with a defeat
