Vyacheslav Glazkov would be prepared to put the IBF heavyweight world title on the line against Anthony Joshua in London if he beats Charles Martin to it on Saturday night.

Ukraine's Glazkov (21-0-1-KO13) is a slight favourite to take the vacant belt the IBF stripped Tyson Fury of, although Martin (22-0-1-KO20) will enjoy the support of his fellow Americans in New York.

When asked if British and Commonwealth champion Joshua (15-0-KO15) featured in his plans, Glazkov told Sky Sports: "Yes of course. I know Anthony and he's a very good fighter. He's a very promising fighter in the heavyweight division. Of course I'd like to face him later in my career."

Kathy Duva, Glazkov's promoter added: "I think there's a very good chance that could be made down the line. I have a great relationship with the Hearns. I've known Barry longer than I care to remember. We have a great friendship.

"It'd be wonderful to work with them. We'd love to come to the UK. We used to come there all the time when Lennox Lewis was fighting. We went there for Sergey Kovalev against Nathan Cleverly too, so it's kind of my lucky place!

"Glazkov is underestimated, greatly. He was an Olympic bronze medallist but he was injured and couldn't continue. He was cheated out of the opportunity to win that gold medal.

"This is his goal now. The chance he didn't get. He's lived through a lot of adversity lately with things going on in his hometown. He's lost loved one and friends and went through a difficult time. I'm happy things are going his way."

Ahead of the biggest fight of his life, the 31-year-old Glazkov added: "Yes. Of course I feel good. I prepared hard, with hard training to make an easy fight. I had good sparring partners and a good training camp. I'm 100% ready.

I know Anthony and he's a very good fighter. He's a very promising fighter in the heavyweight division. Of course I'd like to face him later in my career.

"For me, it doesn't matter [he's a southpaw]. I had a good training camp with southpaw sparring partners and it's not a problem for me. It's good. Of course it's a good opportunity for me and it'll be a good fight. It will be a good evening. I have a better experience with many fights. I hope this will help me in this fight.

"There are already a lot of changes in the heavyweight division and I think this is going to be a positive thing that the titles are being spread around."
