Lee Selby hits back at 50 cent with his own rap

Lee Selby had a message for rapper 50 cent after carrying out his check weight ahead of his IBF featherweight title defence.

Selby was within the 10lbs limit that fighters are allowed to put on when he tipped the scales at 135.1lbs on Saturday morning ahead of his clash with Eric Hunter on the Charles Martin-Anthony Joshua bill at The O2 on Saturday, live on Sky Sports Box Office.

After climbing off the scales the Welshman hit back at 50 cent, who is backing Hunter, with his own version of the American's rapper's song Go Shorty, It's your Birthday.

50 cent posted a picture of Hunter and Selby at Friday's press conference on his official Instagram account, along with a bold pre-fight prediction.

It read: "My man gonna ice this kid, check him out OUT LAW Eric Hunter. Title Fight PHILLY."
