Remember the night that ‘Prince’ Naseem Hamed became a world champion for the first time against Steve Robinson in 1995.
A 21-year-old Hamed danced, weaved, pranced and punched Robinson into an eighth-round stoppage to claim his WBO featherweight title.
It was already apparent that the leopard-print emblazoned Hamed was an intriguing talent but, after 19 straight wins, there remained questions about how his unique style would compare against a solid opponent.
Welshman Robinson was riding an eight-fight win streak having won his world title on short notice, and the fight was scheduled in the champion's backyard of Cardiff.
"I'm the prince, I'm going to be king, make sure you're there for the coronation," Named declared before dishing out a one-sided beating with all the showmanship that would come to define his career.
