Six group games wasn't enough to decide Group B at the Grand Slam with Robert Thornton and Dimitri Van den Bergh needing a nine-dart shoot-out.
After Wednesday's final round of group action Thornton and Van den Bergh were joined by Gerwyn Price on four points but Price advanced courtesy of his +4 leg difference.
With The Thorn and The Dream Maker level, the Grand Slam turned to its version of a penalty shoot-out as the pair went head to head over nine darts with the premise simple, score as many points as you can!
And the drama matched the occasion with the pair matching each other virtually dart for dart, to the point where it came down to the final throw of the dart.
With dart number nine in his hand, The Thorn was 20 points adrift - hit play on the video at the top of the page to see who made it through to Wednesday's second round.
