As Arsenal prepare to face Liverpool in their Premier League opener - live on Super Sunday - we remember a six-goal classic from 2004...
The Gunners had just days earlier been on course for an historic treble, only to be knocked out of the FA Cup at the semi-final stage by Manchester United, before an extra-time defeat by Chelsea in the Champions League quarter-final.
But a Thierry Henry hat-trick in this thrilling clash kept them on track in the Premier League, lifting them seven points clear at the top in what would prove their invincible season.
Sami Hyypia had struck first for Liverpool before Henry's equaliser in front of the Clock End. Michael Owen restored Liverpool's lead from Steven Gerrard's defence-splitting through-ball just before the break, but after Robert Pires levelled again, Henry turned on the afterburners.
The Frenchman scored twice to complete a memorable treble, the first of which was a wondrous solo effort, and the win helped lift the pressure on Arsenal's shoulders as what would be a historic season came to a close.
