England will debut their new navy away kit when they take on old foes Germany on Wednesday.

Manchester City pair Raheem Sterling and John Stones helped model the Nike strip - inspired by the Royal Navy - alongside Manchester United's Marcus Rashford and Tottenham striker Harry Kane, ahead of the friendly at Dortmund's Westfalenstadion.

Leicester's Jamie Vardy and Liverpool's Nathaniel Clyne also posed in the new gear, which features bright flashes of light blue harking back to England's 1990 away shirt.

England have ditched the red shirt they wore during their disappointing Euro 2016 campaign under Roy Hodgson as they prepare for Gareth Southgate's first game in charge since taking the reins on a permanent basis.

Nike says the new kit's AeroSwift technology "represents its most advanced apparel innovation with enhanced fit, superior breathability and reduced weight."

A black vertical stripe running the length of the shirt and shorts "expands when to player is in motion to help maximise ventilation," according to the manufacturer, while the shirt's "engineered knit zones" are designed to enhance fit.

England's new away kit is available from nike.com from March 22.
