Didier Drogba has stated his intention to throw himself into humanitarian work when he finishes his illustrious career.
The 32-year-old already has a foundation in his native Ivory Coast where he donated £3million to the building of a hospital.
Drogba has endured an indifferent campaign with Chelsea this term after battling against malaria last year and losing his place to £50million January signing Fernando Torres.
At his age, questions are inevitably being asked about what he plans to do when he retires, and he is clear what path he wishes to follow after football.
"Yes, of course," he answered, when asked if would prefer to work full-time in his humanitarian work as opposed to in football when he retires.

"Working with the humanitarian thing is something very important to me. It's not just because I am playing - I am not just doing this to promote myself.
"I'm using my image to promote my foundation, so it is something I want to do long-term.
"It's not something you do and after three years you (stop). It's something very serious. I'm not doing it for fame.
"Actually, it's my main passion. When I retire, it will become my priority number one.
"At the moment, playing is very important too!"
