Aaron Ramsey is a doubt for Arsenal's Carabao Cup final against Manchester City, says Arsene Wenger.

Arsenal face City at Wembley on February 25, live on Sky Sports, following both legs of their Europa League last-32 tie against Swedish side Ostersunds.

Alexandre Lacazette has already been ruled out injured for six weeks, while Jack Wilshere, Laurent Koscielny and Petr Cech have not travelled to Sweden due to minor fitness problems.

But Ramsey's groin injury is a "sensitive case", according to Wenger.

"He doesn't move forward as quickly as I expected," the Arsenal manager said on Wednesday. "Today I would say certainly he will not be available for the second game against Ostersunds.

"Maybe for the cup final. I don't know yet, it depends how he will progress from now."

Danny Welbeck and Mesut Ozil will play against Ostersunds, Wenger said, as he brought a stronger squad to face their Swedish opponents for a place in the last 16 of the Europa League.

"We want to do well in this competition," said Wenger. "We played on Saturday, we play tomorrow night.

"Over the weekend we have no game. So we have one week without competition. It's important our players keep at the competitive level.

"When you go in a competition it is to try to win it no matter where we are in the league. The pressure might be higher maybe but we try to go as far as we can. We go into direct knockout. We play a team who has come out of the group stage, so they are a good team."
