Brett Pitman scored twice as Bournemouth beat out-of-sorts Reading 3-0 to post their third successive victory in the Sky Bet Championship.
The Royals defence held out for 50 minutes at the Goldsands Stadium before Callum Wilson's header opened the floodgates for the home side.
Pitman added a second five minutes later, with the striker then rounding off the scoring after 64 minutes to leave Bournemouth sitting just outside of the top six.
Reading, however, are now without a win in six matches, including three defeats on the bounce.
