Heung-min Son says Tottenham's belief was strong even after they went 2-0 down in their Premier League clash against Manchester City on Saturday.

Goals from Leroy Sane and Kevin De Bruyne gave City the lead at the Etihad Stadium, but Spurs showed their mettle by coming back to secure a 2-2 draw, courtesy of goals from Dele Alli and half-time substitute Son.

Mauricio Pochettino's side were not at their fluent best but South Korea international, Son, felt the battling result showed the extent of their collective spirit.

"I believed we could still win or get a point. I think everyone was of the same mind," he told Spurs TV.
