Tottenham eye move for Udinese star
Sky Sports understands that Tottenham are ready to make a move to land Udinese star Kwadwo Asamoah and try to land him ahead of some of Europe's top clubs.
Both Manchester United and Juventus have been strongly linked with the 23-year-old, who has had an outstanding couple of seasons in Serie A.
Asamoah, who has over 40 caps for Ghana, is regarded as a top prospect and Udinese appear set to cash in, although they denied last week that the player had asked to leave the club.
However, Sky Sports understands that Tottenham are looking at the midfielder, who played a starring role for his country at the 2010 World Cup finals.
Asamoah, who joined Udinese from Bellinzona in 2008 for less than £1million, has three years left on his current deal at the Stadio Friuli and would cost in excess of £10million.
