Maloney and Rodallega eyeing return; Crusat remains sidelined

Wigan boss Roberto Martinez has confirmed Hugo Rodallega and Shaun Maloney could be fit for Saturday's trip to Fulham. Former Celtic forward Maloney, who grabbed the winner against Manchester United last week, was forced to sit out Monday's win at Arsenal with a knee injury. Rodallega, meanwhile, has been out for the last six weeks with a knee complaint of his own. However, both could return to the squad for Saturday's game as the Latics look to build on good form that has seen them win three out of their last four to rise five points clear of the drop zone. "With Hugo we are getting closer," said Martinez. "It is too early to tell if he is going to be ready for Saturday but he is progressing really well.

50-50

"It is similar for Shaun Maloney, who is 50-50 for the weekend. "I hope he is going to be able to join the group on Friday and we will see how he develops from there." The news on the injury front is not so good regarding Albert Crusat, who is set to miss the next fortnight with a calf injury picked up in training. "Albert, it has been confirmed, has a grade-one soft tissue problem in his calf, so he should be between 10-14 days," added Martinez. "That is a real disappointment because Albert was hitting a really good moment of form. "It is a little bit of a setback but we hope he is going to be available for the last two games of the season."
