Stoke defender Kurt Zouma speaks to Sky Sports News ahead of Super Sunday, and reveals the reason behind his unusual middle name.
Zouma, on loan from Chelsea for the season, will be in action on Sunday as the Potters go to West Brom, live on Sky Sports Premier League at 1.30pm.
He has become a fan favourite already at the bet365 Stadium, and said he is living up to his middle name 'Happy' as he gets more playing time under his belt.
"My middle name is Happy, so I'm always happy! I'm named after a Jean Claude Van Damme movie [Kickboxer, main character named Kurt].
"I was beating everybody in the film, and my father was talking with my mother, and told her: 'We are going to call this kid Kurt, for sure!'
"My mum said she would add Happy to the middle name because he will always be happy, he will be strong and happy. Every day I thank them because that's quite good! It sums me up I think."
Zouma has played every minute for Stoke in the Premier League this season, and says his main target is to get as many minutes under his belt before returning to Chelsea, where he signed a new six-year deal earlier in the summer.
"I am very happy at Stoke, my target was to come here and play, and I played the first three games, and I want to keep going like that, and to keep working hard.
"It's all about getting in as many games as I can, that's the main target.
"Stoke City have brought in some good players now, we have a strong team, and we want to make the fans happy, they deserve it. But we have to take it game by game, we will see at the end."
