Colchester extension for Thompson

Colchester defender Josh Thompson has signed a new deal to keep him at the club until 2015.

The one-year deal comes despite Thompson making just one appearance last season due to an ankle injury. The 23-year-old has made a total of 23 appearances for the U's since arriving from Portsmouth in November 2012.
