Colchester down Daggers

Colchester maintained their free-scoring pre-season form by hitting back from two goals down to win 4-3 at Dagenham & Redbridge.

The U's, who beat AFC Sudbury 4-1 in their previous match, took the lead through Macauley Bonne but were pegged back when Daggers skipper Abu Ogogo headed home. Goals from Ashley Hemmings and the impressive Ashley Chambers then put the hosts in command. Colchester pulled one back through Dominic Vose's fine free-kick and after the visiting midfielder had added his second to make it 3-3, Jabo Ibehre struck the winner from close range.
