Bradley Wright-Phillips took his tally to 10 goals in 10 games with a brace as Plymouth won 3-1 at home to Bristol Rovers.
Both goals followed the same pattern in Tuesday night's League One clash at Home Park. Winger Craig Noone crossed from the left and striker Wright-Phillips finished with aplomb from close range - the first at the far post and the second from the middle of the six-yard box with a first-time volley. On-loan Spurs midfielder Dean Parrett volleyed Argyle ahead in the 64th minute after Noone's free-kick flew up off the defensive wall, but Rovers levelled in the next attack. Pirates striker Will Hoskins volleyed home skipper Stuart Campbell's 67th minute corner from close range. Argyle started the match on fire, finding the woodwork three times in a 10-minute first half spell. Wright-Phillips hit the post on 10 and 20 minutes while Craig Noone's 20-yard shot was palmed onto the bar by Pirates number one Mikkel Andersen.Wright-Phillips rumbles Rovers
