Bournemouth's long-serving striker Steve Fletcher hopes to find out where his future lies after returning from a successful loan spell at Plymouth.
The 39-year-old helped Plymouth steer clear of relegation from the Football League after moving to Home Park in March.
His parent club Bournemouth face a transitional summer following a mixed campaign, with the vacant managerial position yet to be filled.
However, Fletcher, who has been affiliated with the club since 1992, has revealed that he still hopes to play a part in helping Bournemouth become a Championship outfit in the near future.
"Well, I've got another year left on my contract back at Bournemouth, but there are a lot of things to sort out over the summer," Fletcher told Sky Sports.
"I've got to sit down with the chairman because he told me to come to Plymouth, get my head right and help them avoid relegation, as he is from that area, and then come back and talk with him.

"Hopefully, there will be something there for me because I am in the latter stages of my career and there's still another year left on my playing contract.
"There are a lot of things to discuss with the chairman and you never know where you are going to be in football.
"Obviously, my heart is at Bournemouth, but we'll have to see how things go because there are a lot of things to consider, with the vacant managerial position just one of them.
"Paul Groves is filling that role at the moment and is doing a great job, so he would be a great appointment if he got the job and hopefully they'll still want me to play my part next season.
"We had a bad start to the season before a good mid-season push which left us just a few points off the play-offs, but we followed that up with a terrible run which saw us drift down the table again.
"Things will be analysed and addressed over the summer I'm sure because we lost far too many games this season, with a lot of those games by the odd goal and drawing more of those would have given us a much better points tally.
"We've definitely got the players to be up there next season because we've got some quality players at the football club.
"If we make a few tweaks over the summer and get a bit more luck here and there then there's no reason why we can't be up there next season."
