Marvin Sordell has had his Burnley contract cancelled by mutual consent, the Sky Bet Championship club have announced.
The 24-year-old striker made 17 appearances for the club last season as the Clarets suffered relegation from the Barclays Premier League.
He managed just one goal in that time, scoring against Tottenham in the Capital One Cup.
Sordell has made just four substitute appearances this term.
