Coventry City remained in negotiations with Birmingham City and one other unnamed EFL club on Tuesday as they continue their search for a temporary home for next season.
The Sky Blues' deal to rent the Ricoh Arena from Wasps expires at the end of the season, with the rugby club refusing to agree new terms due to an ongoing legal feud with Coventry's owners, SISU.
If no resolution is found, the EFL's 72 clubs will vote on whether to expel Coventry from the league in just nine days' time.
The club are also set to continue discussions with Coventry City Council on Tuesday about the potential use of Butts Park Arena, the home of Coventry Rugby Club.
The ground has a capacity of 4,000, which could be expanded to 7,500 if agreement is reached.
Birmingham City are known to have offered the Sky Blues a temporary home at St Andrew's, 22 miles away from the Ricoh Arena, despite the EFL's insistence that Coventry play within six miles of the city next campaign.
Last month, Sky Sports News broke the news that as many as five EFL clubs in the Midlands have offered to provide a groundshare for next season.
