German returns to Rangers

Championship side Queens Park Rangers have recalled Antonio German from his loan spell at Southend.

Rangers have activated a 24-hour recall clause in the young striker's loan deal with Paul Sturrock's side. German scored one goal in seven appearances at Roots Hall and was left out of Southend's 18-man squad for Tuesday's 2-0 win over Cheltenham.
