Leicester City completed an unbeaten pre-season campaign with a 1-0 win over Werder Bremen.

Leicester made it six wins from their seven games ahead of their return to the Premier League, and they finished in fine style with victory over the Bundesliga outfit.

Foxes chief Nigel Pearson named a strong starting line-up against Bremen - who defeated Chelsea 3-0 in their previous friendly.

The only goal of the game arrived just seven-minutes in when captain Wes Morgan grabbed his third goal of pre-season.

Morgan rose to head home a Riyad Mahrez corner and give Leicester the win.

Pearson will have been left more than happy as he used all 16 of his outfield players with most getting 45-minutes ahead of next week's Premier League opener against Everton.
