Hull City have received a charge from the Football Association for failing to control their players in the 2-0 defeat to Arsenal on Saturday.
Arsenal broke Hull's resolve in the 34th minute when Kieran Gibbs' shot was cleared off the line only to cannon into the goal off Alexis Sanchez's arm.
Hull were dismayed after referee Mark Clattenburg awarded the goal, and were further aggrieved after half-time when last-man Gibbs saw yellow, and not red, for clearing Lazar Markovic out as he tried to latch onto Oumar Niasse's flick.
An FA statement said: "It is alleged that in or around the 55th minute of the game against Arsenal on Saturday (February 11 2017), the club failed to ensure that its players conducted themselves in an orderly fashion."
Tigers midfielder Sam Clucas later saw red himself for blocking Lucas Perez's goal-bound header and Sanchez sealed all three points for Arsenal from the resulting penalty.
Hull have been given until 6pm on February 17 2017 to respond to the charge.
