Talks are ongoing between Andrea Radrizzani and Massimo Cellino over a full takeover of Sky Bet Championship club Leeds United, Sky sources understand.

Positive talks have taken place between the two men, who each own 50 per cent of the club, but Sky Sports News HQ understands no deal has yet been completed.

Radrizzani bought 50 per cent of the Elland Road club from Cellino in January, with an option to buy the remainder at the end of the campaign.

The Whites have one game remaining, away to Wigan on Sunday, but need a win and a 14-goal swing with Fulham to sneak into the playoffs.

Radrizzani was behind a significant appointment to the Elland Road board last month when former Real Madrid director of strategy Ivan Bravo joined the club.

"On behalf of everybody at Leeds United I would like to welcome Ivan to the club," Radrizzani said.
