Highlights of Swindon's 3-0 win against Charlton in Sky Bet League One

Swindon climbed out of the Sky Bet League One relegation zone with a deserved 3-0 victory over Charlton on Saturday.

New director of football Tim Sherwood was watching on at the County Ground as the home side took the lead through a Morgan Fox own goal just before half-time, while Lloyd Jones doubled their lead just after the break.

John Goddard then sealed the result late on as Charlton succumbed to a first defeat in five games, having won and drawn two of their previous four.

In a first half lacking any real quality all over the pitch, it took a massive moment of fortune to break the deadlock at 43 minutes.

Swindon had been the slightly better side, but Charlton would have felt very hard done by as Sean Murray's 20-yard strike, which was heading wide, clipped the heel of Fox and trickled into the far corner as the helpless Declan Rudd watched on from the other side of his goal.

Charlton made a change at half-time in an attempt to get back into the game, throwing on Brandon Hanlan for Kevin Foley, but it was Swindon who struck the next blow after 50 minutes, as Jones finished from close range after Michael Doughty had headed a corner on into his path.

The Addicks still had 40 minutes to try and find their way back into the game, but showed very little attacking intent and Swindon eventually sealed the result in the 86th minute as Goddard fired home following a swift counter-attack.
