Brighton v Huddersfield preview

Team news ahead of Saturday's League One clash between Brighton and Huddersfield at the Withdean Stadium.

Brighton captain Gordon Greer returns from suspension for the last-ever match at the Withdean Stadium. But goalkeeper Casper Ankergren and striker Glenn Murray are injury doubts as the League One champions bid farewell to their home of 12 years. Centre-half Greer has completed a four-match ban after he was sent off against Sheffield Wednesday earlier this month - his second red card of the season. Ankergren was forced off against Colchester on Monday with a dead leg so Peter Brezovan is on standby again, while 22-goal top scorer Murray missed out with a shoulder injury and is unlikely to be risked. The Seagulls will begin next season in the Championship at their new 22,500-seater Amex Stadium. Huddersfield manager Lee Clark will choose from an unchanged squad. Clark has no new injury or suspension problems as Town look to extend their unbeaten club-record run to 24 matches and maintain the pressure on second-placed Southampton, who play at Brentford. Midfielder Joey Gudjonsson could return to the starting line-up, while strikers Lee Novak and Danny Cadamarteri are also pushing for recalls after being named among the substitutes in Monday's win over Dagenham & Redbridge. First-choice goalkeeper Alex Smithies (knee), winger Anthony Pilkington (ankle/leg), defender Liam Ridehalgh (foot) and midfielder Damien Johnson (knee) remain long-term absentees. Despite their unbeaten run, the Terriers cannot afford to drop any points in pursuit of automatic promotion as they remain level on points with Southampton, who have a game in hand.
