Boss urges Chairboys revival

Gary Waddock is disappointed after watching Wycombe's fifth successive defeat, admitting his side need to regain their belief quickly.

Wanderers, who have now not scored for five matches in League One, went down 2-0 in Saturday's League One clash at Tranmere following Enoch Showunmi's early finish and Ash Taylor's second-half header. "We are in a rut and need to get out of it quickly. Things are not going our way," said Waddock. "We are not able to score goals and are conceding at the wrong time. It is all down to confidence and belief. "Only hard work will turn things round. I can understand the fans' frustration but I take total responsibility for everything we do. "The players are very disappointed and low, as I am. We have got to stop the rot but it is easier said than done. We need three points very, very soon. "We conceded two poor goals and I am bitterly disappointed over the performance."
