Karl Robinson wants to bring a new striker in after MK Dons lost 1-0 to Tranmere despite dominating the majority of the game.
The first half in particular was one-way traffic, but the Dons failed to take advantage of their superiority and eventually paid for it as Ryan Lowe's 90th-minute goal snatched the points for Tranmere. victory for Rovers lifts them five points clear of relegation zone, but this was a third game without a goal for the home side. Robinson said: "I'm still in shock with the result. "The result wasn't down to the performance - we just need to score goals. "We've gone three games without a goal and we need to go find a striker, it's as simple as that. "We need one to try and get us up the table and we need to find one and get us one in quick. "We've tried everyone we've got up there and I thought Daniel Powell was effective and had a right good go, but he's not a natural finisher. "And over this period (former Dons loanee) Patrick Bamford has scored four so it just shows you what we're missing. "For large parts, other than a 15-minute spell in the second half, we dominated the game. "We've played Tranmere twice now and to not come away with a win is bitterly disappointing because arguably we deserved the three points here." In a first half the Dons controlled, Ben Reeves was denied twice by Tranmere keeper Owain Fon Williams, while Powell lifted a great chance over.
