Scunthorpe United defender Callum Howe has joined non-league outfit Alfreton Town on loan.
Howe, yet to make his first-team debut for the Iron, will remain with the Vanarama Conference club until April 18. The 20-year-old has previously had loan spells with Conference North sides Bradford Park Avenue and Gainsborough Trinity as well as Evo-Stik Northern Premier League Premier Division side Frickley Athletic. This season, Howe had a temporary spell with Alfreton's league rivals Gateshead. He will go straight into the Reds' squad for Saturday's relegation battle at Welling.Howe departs Scunthorpe on loan
